Our friendly and welcoming writing group members meet on the first Tuesday of the month to share their interest in writing. Why not come along?
The Hengistbury Writers Group began as a result of the first Hengistbury Head Writing Competition back in 2015. The group is open to anyone with an interest in writing, from those who have already had writing published to those who are just starting out. The group's monthly meetings are friendly and helpful gatherings, where the members can read out writing they have been working on if they want to, and then receive helpful comments and advice from the other members. The group also carry out writing exercises at the meetings to improve their skills, and share their knowledge and experiences of writing.
So, if you already write, or are interested in writing, be it poetry, articles, short stories, novels or something else, then why not come along and meet like-minded people? Meetings are on the first Tuesday of the month at 2pm at Hengistbury Head Visitor Centre. For more information, please email us.
