One of Britain’s rarest creatures lives at Hengistbury Head
Natterjack Toads (picture below,) one of Britain’s rarest creatures, lives at Hengistbury Head and is doing well here thanks to the protected man made ponds.
Below is a picture of a Sand Lizard which can be found along the vulnerable cliff top dunes where a boardwalk has helped reduce trampling.
