Enjoy the Wonders of the Night Sky!

Join astronomers Kate Earl and Bill Coombes for this rare celestial event. The Moon will almost cover the Sun, leaving just a small crescent behind. Therefore, to view the eclipse safely you MUST wear approved safety glasses. Each attendee will be issued with a free pair of certified eclipse glasses they can keep after the event.

There will be a special telescope to view the eclipse, as well as craft activities, Commission for Dark Skies stand, a simple radio telescope and talks about the Sun and space.

Never look at the Sun without proper safety equipment (sunglasses are not safe).

Feel free to bring a picnic blanket to sit on.

£4.50 per adult, child tickets are free. Meet at the Visitor Centre. The event will be held in a separate, fenced-off area close by. Please note this area has uneven ground.
