Access is easy for all ages and abilities. A land train links us to Mudeford Spit and you can get a ferry to Christchurch.
Buses run close by too. Christchurch town centre is about 1.5 miles away.

How to get here

Car: Park beside the Hiker Café (charges apply). The Visitor Centre is a flat 5-minute walk along the tarmac path.
- Bus: Hop off at Broadway shops – it’s a short walk to the entrance. Or, you can get off at Tuckton and take the ferry to Mudeford Sandbank.
- Ferry: Boats run from Tuckton Tea Gardens via Wick and Christchurch Quay to Mudeford Spit.
- Bike: Cycle in from Wick, Southbourne or Mudeford. Lock up at the Visitor Centre and use our free pump and tools. You can also hire a Beryl Bike or Scooter nearby.
- Land Train: Links Mudeford Spit to the Visitor Centre – just a short walk from the terminus.
